Due to the fervor to which you all are responding to Snowfall on the Sahara, I have had to add this second page. to get back to the first page of reviews, please use your back browser!

Adrian's review I picked up Natalie's new album--SNOWFALLS ON THE SAHARA, and I think it is wonderful. I have been a true fan for years and years, and I think that she could have picked even more tunes than what is on this album. REVEREND LEE, CORINNA, and especially A SONG FOR YOU, brings out the true beauty of Natalies voice. I can't wait for a video from one of the songs on the CD. She is right when she says that she has covered a little bit of everythig that she has ever done on this album. Being an R&B fan, I think that she could get back into it without any problem. SNOWFALLS ON THE SAHARA is ultimately the bomb, and I think she did a wonderful job on the whole album. Keep it up girl, we love you.

A Cleveland Fan: Yes I'm a big fan of Natalie,I think she has a wonderful voice. As far as the new CD I really like it I think she could have left out a few tunes His Eyes,Her Eyes and Since You Asked. My favorite is Say you Love Me,Corina Corina and A sing For you. I really like the way she does the vocals on all of the songs.

I have been a fan of Natalie Cole since her first album.Ms.Cole is one of the few artist who can do all types of music and do them well. On this album she has put all these different styles in one album. Snowfall On The Sahara is a very good CD. Here are some of my favorites on the CD. Snowfall On The Sahara,More Than You'll Ever Know and With My Eyes Wide Open I'm Dreaming are three beautiful songs. On Stay With Me Natalie sings withe fire and soul. I just love the way she hits the high notes in this song(this song reminds me of the Natalie of the 70's). Natalie takes us back to church with the gospel feel of Reverend Lee and Gotta serve somebody. On a Song For You she takes a classic song and make it better. If you are looking for some good singing and a variety of music this a ver good choice. Natalie Cole has a CD of good music and not just what the latest trend in music is on the charts and radio.

I THINK SNOWFALL ON THE SAHARA IS DEFINETLY ONE OF MRS. COLE'S MOST INTERESTING ALBUMS. THE LADY SINGS WITH SUCH EMOTION YOU CAN JUST FEEL IT. MY FAVORITES INCLUDE SINCE YOU ASKED, MORE THAN YOU'LL EVER KNOW AND GOTTA SERVE SOMEBODY. MY 2ND TIER FAVORITES ARE SNOWFALL ON THE SAHARA, SAY YOU LOVE ME AND CORRINA. THERE IS NOT ONE SINGER OUT THERE TODAY THAT DEFINES CLASS AND STYLE LIKE A LA COLE. YOU GO DIVA. AS FOR YOU DIANA ROSS FANS, BITE ME. (Favorite CD) Inseparable

THIS ALBUM IS FOR MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY. NATALIE STAYS AWAY FROM ALL THE TRENDY TUNES OF TODAY AND JUST SINGS. I LOVE THE EMOTION THIS LADY PUTS INTO A SONG. MY PERSONAL FAVORITES INCLUDE MORE THAN YOU'LL EVER KNOW, CORRINA, AND SINCE YOU ASKED. THE ALBUM AS A WHOLE IS GOOD AND SHOULD BE GETTING A LOT MORE OF EXPOSURE. ELEKTRA RECORDS NEEDS TO RELEASE SAY YOU LOVE ME TO THE R&B MAINSTREAM STATIONS. THIS RECORD IS SUCH A GEM. I ALSO THINK SNOWFALL ON THE SAHARA HAS GREAT POTENTIAL FOR POP RADIO. I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S UP, BUT THIS ALBUM IS TOO GOOD TO GO UNNOTICED. THERE'S SOMETHING ON HERE FOR ALMOST EVERYONE, EXCEPT HER PINK CADILLAC FANS.

It is truly great to hear vintage Natalie. When I first purchased the CD, there were only a few tracks I listened to & said, "WOW!!!" There were other songs I heard and I said, "Please.......what is going on?" Now I know what was going on & what happened! NATALIE ONCE AGAIN struck BRILLIANCE. Natalie's rendition(s) of "A Song For You" and "Stay With Me" are an impeccable treat!!!!!! Natalie - [It feels so good for you to be back So good for you to be back(you know the rest of the song)] Keep up the brilliance!

I was at Barnes and Noble the other day and I decided to listen to Natalie Cole's new album. I didn't expect to like it, since I truly disliked her "Unforgettable" album and her other trad-pop/jazz sounds. As soon as I heard the first song, I was hooked. It was pure brilliance. "A Song for You" is one of the most powerful songs I've heard. It resurrects Ray Charles-type soul, and her voice just swoons around the beautiful melody. "More Than You'll Ever Know" is another beautiful song that I can't seem to get out of my head. Natalie's variety on this album makes it an interesting project. She takes from the full R&B spectrum. "Corrinna" is a fun, bouncy song and a great remake of Taj Mahal's original. "Everyday I Have the Blues" is a jazzy, fun listen. "Reverend Lee" gives the listener a good glimpse into Natalie's gospel-soul repertoire. The title song is another beautiful song that shows that Natalie can sing a more contemporary sound even better than most contemporary artists. My other favorite was "Gotta Serve Somebody", which revisited her funky soul abilities. Overall, this album is one of the most refreshing peices of music that I have heard in a long time. It's truly a breath of fresh air in this age of crappy and talentless music. Please pick up a copy of this album!!!! As someone who does NOT like her trad-pop/jazz sound, I was greatly impressed with this peice of work! Good going Natalie.

A "classy" soul singing Diva has done it again. She is so versatile and has taught me to love music beyond my own ears of training. "Snowfall" has captured my heart and has given me the inspiration I needed to believe in quality music. Natalie, if your listening, "You Go Girl!" This is a remarkable collection of songs that no one can lend justice to but you. We all know that there are a lot of good singers in the industry but Natalie, is GREAT! I encourage anyone who has not given Natalie's new CD a chance -- break down and give it your undevided attention. It's worth more than you'll ever know. Much love to you Natalie.

I've listened to this cd over and over again. I been a Natalie Cole fan for over 24 years. I've always stated that Natalie Cole was the next great singer in the lineage of fine phrasing female vocalist. When I say this, I mean she is in the line of female vocalist like Ella, Aretha, Barbra, etc. She can sing any tune and make it her own. Her live performances are magical. Snowfall on the Sahara is just another great piece of quality artistry by this amazing talent! I just dig all the tunes because they embody her total abilities as a singer extraordinaire. As David Foster said she is truly one of the great ones to cross our path. We should be thankful god has given her to us to share the talent and love she poured on us over the years. Keep it up my sister, we've always believed in YOU!

Natalie's new release titled Snowfall In The Sahara is a masterpeice highlighting Natalie's natural talent as one of todays most successful entertainers!

My favorite cut is "More Than You'll Ever Know"....now this is classic Natalie, I love its mellowness and tranquil vibe...next is the beautiful heart felt Say You Love Me...this song is amazing! I first heard Jennifer Holliday sing it back in the 80's and I loved the Jennifer did it!! Whitney has also covered this song recently on tour. I saw Whitney di it twice, once in Paris, the other in Germany...she does an amazing job too! Natalie's is much smoother and she deliver's this song with true meaning....I love it!

Next, the bluesy toe tapping finger snapping..Everyday I Got The Blues, this song is priceless! it suits Natalie to a T. You can just hear how much fun Natalie is having singing this song...I saw her do it in concert and she tore it up!

Last but not least.....Stay With Me! Does Natalie give you a bit of CRY BABY or what? Amazing....I really enjoy this song, this is definately Natalie from yester years!...a nice treat.

I have been a fan of Natalie's since listening to her sing "No plans forthe future". Even then, at the tender age of 26, you could hear this woman was going to be around for a long time to come. This latest effort is no less telling. I can't think of anyone else worthy enough to follow Bette's version of 'Stay With Me Baby". She truely knows how to choose the perfect material to show case her amazing gifts. It seems almost unfair for the Good Lord to bless one person with so much.
